Elkhorn Infant Daycare

Every infant reaches their developmental milestones at different times and requires special attention to help them grow. To accommodate these needs, our infant program is split up into three different classrooms based on different developmental levels. Each of our Elkhorn baby care classrooms have age-appropriate toys and activities that focus on developing their next milestone. Don’t worry about missing a thing, our staff will give you daily updates on how your little one is progressing! Each child gets the proper attention they need with the teacher-to-infant ratio of 1 teacher for every 4 infants.

Infant 1 Classroom

The youngest infants go in our Elkhorn infant daycare 1 Classroom where we care for babies who are 6 weeks old to crawling age. Our experienced newborn childcare staff is trained to provide the care that these infants need on a daily basis as well as age-appropriate activities to help them reach their next milestones. Each infant is constantly held, read to, sung to, and played with. We provide proper toys and activities at this age to stimulate their growth and development.

Infant 2 Classroom

The infants that are placed in our Elkhorn infant daycare 2 Classroom are those who are already crawling to almost walking. They are much more exploratory and starting to move around at this age, so this room is spacious and safe for them to do their exploring! We have plenty of age-appropriate toys for them to play with to stimulate their minds and keep them busy. If your child is ready, we can also work with them on table foods to help them advance with their eating skills.

Infant 3 Classroom

The oldest infants that are walking on their own are placed into our Elkhorn infant daycare 3 Classroom. These infants are quickly transitioning from baby to toddler and are busy exploring everything as they are constantly on the move! This spacious classroom gives them plenty of room to safely walk, run, play, and explore. They’ll keep busy and stimulated with age-appropriate toys that help improve their motor skills. Our newborn childcare staff will interact with them through fun activities like art projects, story time, sensory activities, and music. We can also encourage them to use sign language to help them communicate better, which we’ll gladly show you so you can sign with them!

Our experienced Elkhorn baby care staff at Sprouting Minds gives each and every child the attention and love they need every day, so you can feel at peace leaving your little one in our care!
